Children's workshops, presentations, lectures, and excursions are held at the museum. The museum serves as a meeting place and a venue for representing the interests of the town's residents. On January 1, 1998, the Ecological and Local History Museum was opened in the city of Muravlenko. Today it is actively developing and caters to the interests and needs of the local population and visitors. The museum presents five permanent exhibitions, and traveling exhibitions are held monthly in two halls and the foyer. The museum also holds children's workshops, presentations, lectures, excursions, as well as contests in fine and decorative-applied arts and photography. The museum has become a meeting place and a platform for representing the interests of the town's residents.
