Drozhzhanovsky Local History Museum
About museum
The museum was founded in 1970 in the Pioneer House as a local history corner. In 1990 it was given a separate building, and from 1991 to 2000 it was a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. Since 2011 it has been a municipal budgetary institution, and in 2013 it received premises on the 1st floor of the former Agrobank. The museum displays exhibits: "Distinguished Locals", "Military Glory", "Man is Glorified by Labor", "Friendly Homestead", "Wildlife". The total volume of the collections comprises 2,030 main items and 1,363 items of the scientific and auxiliary fund. The museum's collection includes items of distinguished locals, paleontological specimens, household items and utensils of the Tatar and Chuvash peoples, stuffed animals and documents of war participants and home-front workers. The museum regularly holds tours, quizzes, quests, museum lessons, art events and other interesting activities.
