M. I. Tsvetaeva Memorial House
About museum
In 2005 a memorial museum was opened in the former house of the Brodelshchikov family, to which the Muscovite Marina Tsvetaeva was evacuated in 1941 with her son Georgy. Here you can feel the atmosphere of that time, because many belongings of the Brodelshchikov family have been preserved in the house. The most valuable exhibit is Marina Ivanovna's small notebook in a saffiano leather binding, which was taken from the pocket of Tsvetaeva's apron after her death. This house is included among the cultural heritage sites of republican significance and is visited by more than 45,000 tourists every year.
