About museum
On September 8, 1984, a people's museum was opened. In 1996 it was transferred to the Otradnensky Department of Culture, and in December 2018 it became part of the Cultural and Leisure, Museum-Exhibition and Social Association. The museum's initial focus was the study of the life of Tatyana Grigoryevna Solomakha and the history of the settlement during the years of the establishment of Soviet power. Today it presents the history of the settlement from its founding to the Great Patriotic War (World War II), and also hosts exhibitions on various themes. In addition, the museum is located in a building classified as a monument of history and culture of the peoples of the Russian Federation. The museum's collection comprises 1,985 items in the main fund and 633 items in the scientific and auxiliary fund.
