About museum
The museum is located in a 17th-century building associated with Peter I's stay in the Vologda region. The exhibition contains more than a hundred items, including chairs from 1704 with two carved lions, a bilo with a monogram and the date 1706, a portrait of Peter presented to the archbishop, and the emperor's personal belongings. The museum also displays antique cannon barrels, a musket and a flintlock gun dedicated to the history of Russian weaponry. This historic site attracts many visitors and allows one to enjoy unique artifacts and objects from the past.
