Marina Tsvetaeva House-Museum
About museum
In 1992, on the centenary of the poet Marina Tsvetaeva's birth, her house-museum was opened. The house was built in 1862 and is located on Borisoglebsky Lane. Marina Tsvetaeva lived here for eight years from 1914 to 1922, occupying a one-and-a-half-storey apartment on the second floor. In 2017, after renovation, the house-museum was upgraded and expanded. Now visitors can see not only the permanent exhibition but also two new exhibitions: "From Gagarinsky to Trekhprudny" and "Separation". They feature replicas of lost furnishings, memorial items of Tsvetaeva and her relatives, as well as pre-revolutionary furniture. The exhibitions will be open until September 2022.
