Dmitrovsky Historical and Ethnographic Museum
About museum
Dmitrovsky Historical and Ethnographic Museum has been operating since 1977. Its collection includes more than 6,000 items. Among them, the memorial collection of the Russian composer Vasily Kalinnikov and artifacts of urban and rural life of the 19th–early 20th centuries are of particular value. Visitors can learn about the region's history in the History Hall and view household items in the Ethnography Hall. In addition, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions, events, museum classes, and lectures on local history.
