S. M. Kirov Central Park of Culture and Recreation
About museum
The Central Park of Culture and Recreation is one of St. Petersburg's main places where people of all ages can relax. Here you can skate on ice or rollerblades, feed the birds, take part in guided tours, workshops and musical evenings, as well as stroll along the alleys and enjoy the peace and fresh air. In addition, a military brass band performs here every weekend. The park is home to the Yelagin Palace Museum and the Museum of Art Glass. Historical costume balls are also held here. Throughout the year large public events take place, including the traditional culture festival "Shumi, Maslenitsa", the Tulip Festival, the socio-cultural festival "There Is Contact!", the International Street Theatre Festival "Yelagin Park", the International Exhibition "Glass and Ceramics in the Landscape" and the musical-poetic program "Literature. Music. Park". All this makes the Central Park of Culture and Recreation one of the most attractive places to visit.
