Armenian Museum of Moscow and National Cultures
About museum
At the heart of the museum’s concept is the idea of preserving the people’s identity and preventing the distortion of historical facts and realities, particularly concerning the history of Armenia. The museum’s exhibitions reflect the development of Armenian culture across its various periods. The museum’s exhibits are documented pages of the path traveled by Armenians — a path that has made an indisputable contribution to world culture. The museum produces content in an informative and accessible manner so that Armenians of any country, age, profession, and life experience can feel the shared “encoding” of the Armenian space — from Armenia as the center to the most distant countries of the Spurk (the Armenian diaspora). The Armenian Museum’s goal is to combat the disunity of the Armenian diaspora. One of the most important tasks of its work is bringing thoughtful people together on the basis of love for the Homeland and respect for universal human values.
