The museum's concept is based on the idea of preserving the nation's distinct identity and preventing the distortion of historical facts and realities, particularly with regard to the history of Armenia. The museum's exhibitions reflect the development of Armenian culture across its various periods. The museum's exhibits are documented pages of the journey traveled by Armenians — a journey that has made an undeniable contribution to world culture. The museum produces content in an informative and accessible form so that Armenians of any country, age, profession, and life experience can feel the shared 'encoded' character of the Armenian space — from Armenia as the center to the most distant countries of the Spurk (the Diaspora). The Armenian Museum sets itself the goal of combating the fragmentation of the Armenian diaspora. One of the most important aspects of its work is uniting thoughtful people on the foundation of love for the homeland and respect for universal human values.
