Chapel Museum
About museum
The memorial museum 'Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood' houses an exhibition space dedicated to Emperor Alexander II. It displays an amber model of St. Isaac's Cathedral at a scale of 1:200, created by amber art master A. M. Krylov. The Church of the Resurrection of Christ (Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood) and the Chapel in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God form a single architectural ensemble. The idea of constructing a separate building next to the church where visitors could come to view the donations received after the church's restoration in honor of Alexander II was realized in 1906–1907 under the direction of A. A. Parland.
