О музее
The Almenevsky District People's Historical and Local Lore Museum 'Druzhba' named after F. I. Shakirova was opened on November 28, 1980. Previously a mosque and madrasa occupied this site, and in 1931 the premises were converted into a village club, and later into the district House of Culture. The museum houses cultural and natural science collections representing the nature and history of the Almenevsky District. On display are handwritten and early printed books, photographs, documents, postcards, numismatics, toys, textiles, porcelain and earthenware, orders and medals, clocks, lighting fixtures, musical instruments and much more. The museum has permanent exhibitions on the history and nature of the Almenevsky District, as well as traveling exhibitions based on the museum's collections. The museum offers insight into the everyday life, traditions and lifestyle of the district's inhabitants.
