关于博物馆
On June 18, 2011, a historical and art museum was opened in Gus-Khrustalny to mark the city's 255th anniversary. It is located next to the Maltzov Crystal Museum and is part of a tourism development program. The museum presents two exhibitions: 'The Stone Chronicle of Meshchera' and 'The Goose Museum'. They tell about the history and nature of Meshchera, as well as about the goose as a sacred totem for the ancient inhabitants of the region. Temporary exhibitions are also shown, including a portrait gallery of Academician V. V. Shilov, works by artists from Gus, and the unique photo exhibition 'The Unknown Solzhenitsyn'. The museum invites everyone to learn about the history and culture of Meshchera.
