Exhibition "Born of the Foam"
About exhibition
Born of the Foam, Cyprian, golden, fair-eyed, heavenly — these are all epithets of the most beautiful of the Greek goddesses, Aphrodite, who, according to ancient myth, was born from the sea foam near the island of Cyprus. Works of art from different periods reference the image of the goddess emerging from the sea. The hall features a plaster replica of the marble sculpture by Italo Amerigo Passani, "The Bather." In her form one can discern the eternally youthful goddess of love and beauty. At the exhibition, visitors can also view items from the "Sculpture" and "Glass" collections of the Tyumen Museum and Educational Association. The exhibits are accompanied by visual and audio elements.
