Exhibition 'Fashionable Children'
About exhibition
A new exhibition is dedicated to children's fashion from the 1950s to the 1980s. It was during this period that fashion became a new and independent phenomenon in the country's culture. In the 1950s and 1960s, the USSR saw the appearance of the first books and magazines where fashionable children's outfits and sewing patterns could be seen. The exhibition features interesting items reflecting the fashion trends of the time: fashion magazines with children's patterns, garments and footwear both everyday and festive, including a New Year's bunny costume for a kindergarten performance. Visitors will see clothing for different seasons and children's shoes from the famous Soviet factory 'Skorokhod'.
