About exhibition
The exhibition was organized for the 125th anniversary of the birth of a native of the Vyatka Governorate, the legendary Soviet military commander, Chief Marshal of Aviation, Hero of the Soviet Union K. A. Vershinin (03.06.1900–30.12.1973). The exhibition highlights the main stages of the marshal's life: childhood and youth, military career and professional activities, family traditions and hobbies. Every visitor will learn not only about the fate of the man, but will also gain insight into the history of our country as a whole. The periods of World War I, the October Revolution of 1917, the Civil War, World War II, the development and improvement of Soviet aviation, and the emergence of the Soviet space program — an era in which K. A. Vershinin was a participant and witness. The exhibition can be visited during a self-guided viewing of the museum's historic building or as part of guided tours.
