Visiting the exhibition, you will learn how the country's main exhibition was conceived and operated across different eras, how its ensemble took shape and its content evolved. The exhibition space is divided into five key zones that illuminate the major stages of the exhibition's development in different periods: 'Friendship of Peoples' — about the contribution of representatives of various Soviet republics to the founding and development of VDNKh; 'Review of Victories' — about life in the postwar years; 'The People's University' — about scientific breakthroughs, which always received special attention when preparing permanent and temporary exhibitions; 'The City of Wonders' — visiting this zone will be an entertaining journey through time, where you will see how the architectural gems of the country's main exhibition looked decades ago; 'One Day at the Exhibition' — here you can see what attracted visitors to VDNKh in different periods. Interestingly, the main walking route has changed little over the years — it has always passed through such landmark places as the Central Alley, the Cosmos Pavilion and the Green Theatre.
