Zonal Historical Museum

Zonal Historical Museum is a structural subdivision of the MKUK "Zonal MFC", established in 1999. The museum's main activities are patriotic education of citizens and expanding the museum collection by organizing new exhibitions, as well as increasing the number of individual visits and group tours. At present the museum's collection contains 1,881 items. Two halls are in the process of being arranged: the Hall of Military Glory, divided into three exhibitions, and the Hall of Labor Glory with a permanent exhibition about the Biysk Experimental Breeding Station and other enterprises of the Zonal district. In addition, the creation of a hall dedicated to the everyday life of the district's residents and a cultural exhibition is planned. The museum regularly holds tours and other events. It also maintains partnerships with local media, the District House of Culture (RDK), the library, the Zonal Secondary School, the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children, the archives, and the Veterans' Council.
