About museum
The Exhibition Hall has existed since 1977 and is an art space where visitors can simultaneously attend several exhibitions of classical and contemporary art, go to openings, meet a well-known painter, take part in a museum event and even join a workshop. The exhibition area (about 1,000 sq. m) allows for up to 30 exhibitions per year and the presentation of works of Russian and European painting, decorative and applied arts, photography, installations and other works from artists' studios, private collections and major museums. Artistic and educational activities, interactive programs and creative practices are intended for all ages — from children to adults. For children there are educational programs in visual arts and a theatre studio where they can participate in performances and festive presentations. The Exhibition Hall is intended to bring art closer to a wide audience and to introduce people to its creative possibilities.
