Museum of Porcelain, Lacquerware and Painting
About museum
The museum was founded thanks to the private collections of Y. B. Marushkin and LLC "Provincial ART Gallery-M". It features a variety of exhibitions of 20th-century artifacts that recall the ideological art of the USSR: porcelain from Ukrainian and Russian factories; large-scale faience from the Konakovo Factory; Russian lacquerware (Fedoskino, Palekh, Kholuy, Mstera); a gallery of paintings by V. A. Fedorov and works by N. I. Gavrilova; portraits of representatives of the Ivanovo school of painting (1930–1991); Russian majolica (Gzhel factories); Leniniana (busts of V. I. Lenin from 1924 to 1985); and much more.
