About museum

In 1990, for City Day in Leninsk-Kuznetsky the first Exhibition Hall in Kemerovo Oblast was opened. Since then the institution has been continuously developing: exhibitions of various kinds are held here, and it also has its own collection of 150 paintings registered in the Museum Fund of Russia. In 1994 a unique exhibition space called "Terrarium" was opened here, where you can see more than 20 exotic animals, including species listed in the Red Book. Events for children and youth aimed at environmental education and creative development are also held here.
