About museum

The Temkinsky Museum of History and Local Lore opened in 1991 and is located in the building of the former shop of merchant A. Dunaev, built in 1911. Most of the items were donated by local residents and the district's school museums. The museum has two halls: a local history hall and a hall of the district's labor and military glory. The local history hall presents the interior of a peasant izba, tools for cultivating and processing flax, and collections of household items.
