Fairy-Tale Museum 'Mansion-Nebylitsa'
About museum
Petersburg is full of mysteries and riddles — you just need to know where to look.
If you want to see the hidden, go boldly to the red mansion on Nekrasov Street. They say the veil between our world and that which appears in dreams has thinned. A living fairy tale has spread through the floors, filling the whole house — from the dark basement to the echoing attic, which is full of wonders. Leshies, mermaids, heroes of epics and Russian legends roam the rooms freely, live their own lives, and await guests.
The mistress there is Madame Tselibeeva. Some say she is a wealthy merchant's wife, others — a princess of royal blood, and others claim she is skilled in various arts, can tell the future by the cards, looks through the eyes of birds, and wards off trouble with a word. She guards the gateway to the world of tales and magic that has opened inside her house. And those who are brave and curious, Madame Tselibeeva welcomes as guests — to peek into a fairy tale, to touch ancient powers, and to take photos as keepsakes.
"It's all made up, nonsense!" some will say. But we will answer — it truly is 'Nebylitsa'! This is the fairy-tale museum on Nekrasov Street, house 14b.
Many craftsmen worked on its creation — builders and painters, computer wizards and writers, and some say it couldn't have been done without magic.
Come, everyone, see it with your own eyes and plunge into a fairy tale.
