About museum
\r\nThe Moscow branch of the All-Russian Creative Public Organization 'Union of Artists of Russia' (MOSKh of Russia) is a structural regional subdivision of the All-Russian creative public organization 'Union of Artists of Russia', which is a voluntary association of professional artists, restorers, art historians and folk craftsmen. In 1962 MOSKh held an exhibition '30 Years of MOSKh' at the Moscow Manege that attracted the attention of the country's leader, Nikita Khrushchev. Some participants of the exhibition, such as Pavel Nikonov, Adelaida Pologova, Ernst Neizvestny, Nikolai Andronov, Boris Talberg, Viktor Dumanyan, Yuri Korolev, Igor Popov, Andrei Vasnetsov and Mai Miturich, were denounced by the party leadership. Today they are a source of pride for Russian art and were given the name 'Left MOSKh' in art criticism.
