The Siberian Cultural Center is a department of Russian traditional culture within the State Center for Folk Arts. The main aim of the center is the preservation, study, and development of the traditional culture of the Russian people. To achieve this goal, it conducts research and implements interregional and regional projects to preserve and develop Russian traditional culture and artistic crafts. Within these projects, the 'Egoriy Khorobry' festival, the interregional gathering celebration 'Troitskie Gulyanya', the traditional crafts festival 'Pokrov Fair', and the cultural-educational forum 'Academy of Russian Culture' are held. The center also carries out expeditionary work to collect folklore and ethnographic materials of Slavic population groups in the Omsk region, establishes a regional fund of folk-ethnographic materials, and organizes their processing, systematization, and storage. In addition, the center serves as a methodological center for Centers of Russian Traditional Culture in the municipal districts of the Omsk region.
