Ramensky City Park of Culture and Recreation
About museum
New children's playgrounds, rides and carousels were built in Ramensky City Park, and in 2002 a "Ferris wheel" was opened. During the spring and summer the "Lyra" dance floor operates, and outdoor cafes open in the summer. In addition, traditional holidays and folk festivities are held in the park every year: Victory Day, City Day, Youth Day, the "Rodnik" newspaper festival, and much more. The "Saturn" stadium was completely reconstructed and became a modern sports facility fully meeting international standards. On May 8, 2001, Ramensky City Park was recognized as a monument of regional historical and cultural significance, and on May 8, 2002, the Museum of Military Equipment was opened. At its entrance there are memorial plaques in memory of our countrymen who participated in the local wars in Afghanistan and Chechnya. Around the centuries-old lindens and under a sky strikingly blue, on the Victory Square memorial it reads: "No one is forgotten and nothing is forgotten." This demonstrates the continuity of generations of Russian military glory.
