Pushkin Center named after N. N. Pushkina-Lanskaya
About museum
On September 27, 2011, the Pushkin Center named after N. N. Pushkina-Lanskaya was opened in Narovchat. It is located on Sovetskaya Square in the former Putevoy Palace of the landowner I. A. Arapov, which is an example of 19th-century wooden architecture. The owner of the palace was a cavalier guard, Lieutenant General Ivan Andreevich Arapov. His wife, Alexandra Petrovna, was the daughter of N. N. Pushkina-Lanskaya. The museum exhibits the Arapov family relics, family portraits, the writing desk of I. A. Arapov, a G. Leppenberg piano, and a wall clock from I. A. Arapov's estate. The center hosts theatrical guided tours, marriage registration ceremonies, and wedding rituals. The center is a cozy space that demonstrates Narovchat's connection with A. S. Pushkin.
