About museum

Since 1983 a museum has been operating in Novoaleksandrovsk, which in 1998 received district status. It is located in the city center and has approximately three thousand documentary exhibits and items in its collection that detail the history of the Novoaleksandrovsk district from the time of the first settlers to the present day. The museum features three exhibition halls: the exhibition hall, Cossack Life, and Military Glory. Thanks to participation in the state program 'Accessible Environment', the museum was re-equipped and became accessible to people with disabilities and persons with limited mobility.
