Nikolaevsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum
About museum
On May 7, 2000, the Nikolaevsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum was opened, and on January 1, 2006 it became the museum department of the Intersettlement Cultural and Leisure Center. The museum features seven halls: history up to 1917; the region's development in the period from 1917 to 1941; military glory in 1941-1945; the district's home front; the district's contemporary life; the district's nature; and an exhibition hall of the aviation complex TsSKB-Progress of Samara. The museum actively organizes events for the patriotic education of young people, and also runs the patriotic club "Istoki" for senior students.
