About museum

In 2008, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Nevsky and as part of a campaign to promote the name Alexander Nevsky in the well-known "Name of Russia" project, the Neva Battle Museum was opened. It is located in the settlement of Ust-Izhora and includes a historical-memorial area, an 18th-century earthen fortress, an exhibition, and a life-size battle diorama created by artist I. S. Zhebrovsky. The museum complex also includes the Museum of Vintage Cars, the Museum of Bladed Weapons, and the Church of Alexander Nevsky. A wide range of tours for adults and children is offered here.
