About museum

In 1931 a two-story log house was built that now houses the museum. It is worth visiting for those interested in the everyday life of Russian peasants in the early 20th century. The izba contains a Russian stove, and household items, clothing, towels and embroideries are displayed on the walls. The museum's collection numbers more than 3,200 items, among which one can highlight collections of pottery ceramics, ethnography of Russians and Ukrainians, embroideries, tools, coins and medals. There is also a collection of paintings and graphic works by local artists. Visiting this museum allows you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of everyday life at the beginning of the 20th century.
