Grigory Vasilievich Tetushinov is an honorary citizen of Astrakhan, a member of the first guild of merchants. He was engaged in shipbuilding and navigation, and he also owned one of the first private tug steamships in Russia. In the village of Cherny Yar he owned his own winery. The Tetushinov House, a two-story house with an attic under the roof and surrounded by wide two-tiered galleries, decorated with wooden carving, is a monument of residential architecture of the second half of the 19th century and is officially recognized as a cultural monument. Inside, numerous household items and pieces of furniture that belonged to Grigory Vasilievich have been preserved. The Tetushinov House is a monument of Astrakhan's history and culture that still attracts many people.
