Exhibition 'Art Collections and Church Art'
About museum
The Dmitrov City Society built the two-story building of the Nobility Assembly between 1877 and 1888 to accommodate military units. The first floor was made of stone, and the second was of wood. In 1897 the building was handed over for use as the Nobility Assembly Club, and after the 1917 Revolution it housed party and public organizations. In 2001 a reconstruction of the building began under the direction of architect Andrey Ivanovich Yaganov with the aim of housing exhibitions of art collections. In 2003 the restored building was incorporated into the Dmitrovsky Kremlin Museum-Reserve. The museum's exhibitions are located on the two floors of the building, while the basement houses the museum's collection storage. It presents an exhibition of fine and decorative-applied arts.
