At present the palace is closed for restoration, however the museum continues to organize and participate in exhibition projects in museums across Russia.
Ostankino is a unique architectural and artistic monument associated with the history of Russian and European theatrical art. The architectural complex of the estate was formed here over four centuries. The boyar patrimony with a pond (16th c.), the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity (17th c.), the manor house and oak grove became at the end of the 18th century a palace-park ensemble, the grand summer residence of Count N. P. Sheremetev. At present the palace is closed for restoration, but the museum-estate continues to hold and take part in exhibition projects in museums throughout Russia. Ostankino is an unparalleled architectural and artistic monument connected with the history of Russian and European theatrical art. Over four centuries an architectural complex of the estate was created here, including the boyar patrimony with a pond.
