Museum of the Northwestern Front
About museum
The Museum of the Northwestern Front presents an exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. It comprises 1,500 museum objects that allow analysis of the course of combat operations, tracing of human destinies, and illumination of the darker aspects of military history. The exhibition displays various types of weapons, models of Soviet equipment, as well as examples of weapons used by the opposing sides. Visitors can examine items that belonged to Wehrmacht soldiers, as well as the interiors of a partisan dugout and an underground safe-house apartment. This exhibition enables visitors to experience the tragic confrontation, understand the path to Victory, and see the true picture of the Great Patriotic War.
