In 2007 a tea-drinking museum was opened on the basis of the private collection of Mikhail Silkov. It features more than 500 exhibits that provide an overview of Russia's tea-drinking traditions over 400 years. Here you can see various samovars, cups, coffee pots and other items used to prepare tea. The exhibition also includes rare pieces, such as a station samovar from Zanzur presented to Alexander Kolchak in 1920, and a samovar given to Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev for his 75th birthday. The museum hosts various events and lectures dedicated to the history and culture of tea drinking. In addition, the museum's collection is richer than that of the Tula Samovar Museum. The museum also displays a variety of tea sets, samovars, canisters, cups, coffee pots and other tea-making items.
