Partizansk City History Museum
About museum
\r\nThe museum in Partizansk was founded in 1976. It houses an ethnographic collection representing items of the indigenous population and settlers, documents, photographs, and weapons from the Civil War and World War II, as well as artefacts related to work in the mines, factories, and plants. Visitors can see halls that tell the history of the discovery of the Suchan coal deposit, the first mines of the Suchan mining complex, the October Revolution, the Civil War, the development of the Stakhanovite movement, the participation of the town's residents in World War II and postwar events. There are also two additional halls: "Memorial Hall of the Artist I. F. Palshkov" and "Nature of Primorsky Krai". All this allows one to fully and authentically immerse oneself in the history of the Suchan Valley and Partizansk.
