About museum
The Novokuybyshevsk City History Museum was opened in 1977 at the initiative of I. A. Vennikov, a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia. The creation of the museum was carried out by the combined efforts of the city authorities and industrial enterprises. In 1978 it became a branch of the Kuybyshev Regional Museum of Local Lore.
