Nevel History Museum
About museum
On Lenin Street (formerly known as Shosseynaya), where the house of the former postal station is located, one can still see the outbuildings and a stone fence. In 1993 the Nevel History Museum was opened here; it contains more than 7,000 exhibits, including items dated to the 4th–2nd millennia BC. The museum features six exhibition halls and one display hall where temporary exhibitions are regularly held. In particular, in one of the outbuilding rooms you can visit the exhibition "The Great Patriotic War." In addition, the Nevel History Museum regularly holds various events for the patriotic education of young people.
