Museum 'Gallery of Military Glory'

The Gallery of Military Glory in Magadan was opened in 1985 on the initiative of the Council of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the director of the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions, I. B. Dementyeva. Architect A. Ulrich and sculptor A. Vashkovets developed the competition design for the interior of the gallery of Hero Cities. In 2015, in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory, the gallery underwent reconstruction. The 'Military Glory' Hall is filled with an exhibition dedicated to combat operations. Here you can see wartime artifacts, awards, documents, and personal belongings of veterans and heirs of Victory. The museum is located on the 3rd floor of the City Cultural Center. Group tours are conducted by request.
