The museum building is a federally designated monument of wooden architecture and is one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau. The museum also presents exhibitions of works by masters of artistic woodworking and the collection of the Museum of Wooden Architecture. On the first floor there is the "Russian Izba" hall, which houses the "Carpentry Tools" and "Stove Casting" collections.
