In April 2014 the Altes Haus apartment museum was opened, presenting the everyday life of the family of Gustav Grossmann, a merchant and owner of a shop on Schrötterstraße at the beginning of the 20th century. Here you can appreciate the authentic interior, original furniture and numerous household items from the turn of the 19th–20th centuries. The tour is conducted in an interactive format and allows visitors to experience the way of life in Königsberg at that time. Visitors can purchase tickets in advance on the museum's website or at the ticket office of the museum shop and cafeteria "Gustav Grossmann". There you can also drink coffee from an antique cup and try traditional Königsberg marzipan.
