Intersettlement Museum of the History of Sedelnikovsky District
About museum
On November 7, 1990, the Sedelnikovsky District Museum was opened, housed in a building constructed for a church in 1898. It features 7 main exhibitions that explore the history of the settlement and development of the district. More than 3,500 visitors come annually, who are offered over 30 new exhibitions, 200 guided tours, 80 museum lessons, and 30 museum events. As of the beginning of 2022, the museum had approximately 10,436 items in its main collection and 1,320 items in the auxiliary collection. The majority of the collections are ethnographic objects (over 1,000 items), documents (860 items), and printed materials (more than 4,000 items). Special attention is given to items related to the Great Patriotic War, as well as to the collection of machinery and equipment (264 items).
