Lysva Museum
About museum
\r\nThe Lysva Museum was established in 1957 at the initiative of veterans and public organizations. From 1960 to 2008 it served as the factory museum of the Lysva Metallurgical Plant, and in 2008 it acquired the status of a municipal institution. The museum's collection comprises more than 10,000 items across various collections. As part of ministry projects, interactive exhibitions were created. One of them, "The Lysva Plant of Count P. P. Shuvalov — the Center of the Lysva Mining District", reflects the development of Lysva up to 1917. Another, "The Helmet Museum", is dedicated to the labor achievements of Lysva residents during the Great Patriotic War. In 2014 the building of the House of the Owners of the Shuvalov Plant was transferred to the museum's administration, where the exhibition "Secrets of Lysva Enamel" is displayed. The products of Lysva enamel production are presented here, including propaganda items produced in the 1920s–1930s. Thus, the Lysva Museum offers visitors engaging exhibitions and programs dedicated to the history and culture of Lysva.
