The Lecture and Exhibition Complex (LEC) draws considerable attention to the history of Karelia and the nature of the Kizhi Reserve.
The LEC of the Kizhi State Museum-Reserve is a restored architectural monument located in the center of Petrozavodsk. It was opened on January 27, 2005, and represents a further development of the museum's presentation and exhibition activities. It features exhibition and lecture halls, as well as three studios. Visitors can attend various exhibitions, as well as programs dedicated to holidays and to the history of Karelia and the nature of the Kizhi Reserve. Demonstrations of traditional crafts are presented here. The LEC has become a popular destination for guests and residents of the city, allowing them to gain new knowledge and become acquainted with Karelia's cultural heritage.
