Cultural and Exhibition Center 'Rynda'

On April 18, 2025, a modern art space of 550 sq. m. opened in Magadan.

The first exhibition was the display 'Magadan: Beyond the Myths'. It offers the viewer two perspectives on Kolyma:

the stereotypical — based on established legends and recreated by artists from other regions;

the real — reflecting the everyday life of the region through the eyes of local artists.

The exhibition allows for a deep reflection on the artistic perception of Magadan and Kolyma.

Works for the exhibition were selected following a competition. Among the participants are artists from regions ranging from Kamchatka to Minsk and Slovenia.
