Konezavodsky Historical and Local History Department of the Maryanovsky Museum is located in the settlement of Konezavodskoy of the Vasilyevskoye rural municipality. The museum was founded in 1981 on a voluntary basis under the name Museum of the History of Horse Breeding. The museum building was constructed in 1985 by students of SIBADI with the support of the state farm administration. The initiator of the museum's creation and its first director was Zinaida Konstantinovna Klyuchareva. The two-story museum building houses the main exhibition, which features displays on the settlement's history, horse breeding, stud and breeding operations, as well as horse-breeding implements, photographs and documentary materials. The museum also presents materials about fellow townspeople who took part in the Great Patriotic War, internationalist soldiers and participants in local conflicts. In 2009 the 'Gornitsa' exhibition opened, containing ethnographic material on the traditional culture of the Russian population of the Omsk Irtysh area.
