About museum

The Historical and Local History Museum of the city of Belovo was established in 2002. It allows visitors to trace the city's history from Fyodor Belov's small homestead to the industrial center of Kuzbass. The museum displays authentic objects of economic activity, everyday life, and clothing. Mining equipment, a railroad 'barrel organ', the Treger electric railway apparatus, and the Soviet precursor to the tape recorder 'Talking Paper' are represented in the museum's collections. All of this helps to understand the specifics of Belovo's development and provides detailed and unique information about its history.
