The history of the city of Belebey is presented in its local history museum, which was opened on March 24, 1979. Amir Battalovich Nasyrov was its founder and first director. Today the museum houses more than 40,000 items in its main and auxiliary collections, which are continually supplemented with new objects. The museum holds celebrations, exhibitions, master classes and themed outings. Visitors can obtain interesting and useful information about Belebey's two-century history, which includes outstanding figures in history, science and culture of both Russian and global significance.
