Vavozh Village Art Gallery
About museum
On July 25, 2015, an art establishment was opened in the center of the village of Vavozh in the historic building of the former volost (rural district) administration. The project was organized by Sergey Mikhailovich Markov, a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine and a UNESCO member for visual arts, who in 2016 painted the gallery's façade together with children in a public-art style. The venue features exhibition halls with constantly changing displays and also hosts meetings with artists and master classes in various art forms: cold batik, dry pastel, gouache drawing, wool watercolor, decoupage, pebble painting, and ribbon embroidery. Visitors can not only learn about the work of local artists but also purchase paintings, graphic works, folk crafts, and printed materials.
