Pandikovo Museum
About museum
On May 19, 1988, a museum attached to the local eight-year school was opened in the village of Pandikovo. It serves to preserve the history and culture of the region. The building, constructed in 1870 at the request of the inspector of public schools of the Simbirsk Governorate, I. N. Ulyanov, has a floor area of 159 square meters. The museum consists of four sections: a general hall, the apartment of a pre-revolutionary village teacher, an ethnographic corner, and a Room of Military Glory. The general hall features displays about the school's work and original documents of notable people — former graduates — as well as student desks and a school blackboard. Other sections exhibit household items, traditional national costumes, and displays about teaching dynasties.
